About Me

_DSC1575-3.jpg

Hello! My name is Ashley Price, and I am the Director of Student Experiences at the PAST Foundation. I was born and raised in Ohio moving from Berea to Worthington at a young age, and I currently live in Canal Winchester. I attended the University of Rio Grande where I played volleyball and graduated with my B.S in Middle Childhood Education with concentrations in math, science and reading. After graduation I decided that I wanted more experience in the classroom and went into substitute teaching where I got the opportunity to work with many students, grade levels, subjects and schools across central Ohio. While I was getting more experience in the classroom I continued my coaching career at my high school alma mater as the Assistant Women's Volleyball coach where I am going into my 12th year.

While I always had a dream of having my own classroom that dream evolved when I started working for the PAST Foundation, a non-profit education organization, in 2014 on Kelleys Island. I got the opportunity to provide hands on real world learning experiences to students and that opened my eyes to a whole new world of education. My role at PAST has changed over the years from SOIL Field School Staff to Assistant Programs Coordinator to Assistant Director of Student Programs to my most recent position as Director of Student Experiences. My passion for teaching has followed me my entire life and always takes me on new and exciting journeys!
